Thriving New Energy Car Industry

China's new energy car industry has made significant contributions to the global automotive transformation, supporting the shift towards eco-friendly solutions while meeting consumer demands for high-quality products and services. By advancing electric vehicle and evcar technologies, China plays a crucial role in addressing global climate challenges and demonstrating leadership in sustainable development.

Gaining Market Trust Through High-Quality Car Exports

The International Energy Agency's "2024 Global Electric Vehicle Outlook" predicts continued robust growth in electric vehicle demand, forecasting 17 million units in 2024. China's electric cars, including sedans and SUVs, offer diverse options worldwide. These vehicles, such as the BYD ATTO 3, praised as the UK's 2023 Best EV, and the Geely Geometry E, favored in Rwanda, capture international trust. The Haval H6 new energy car by Great Wall Motors earned Brazil's Best Power Award, reflecting the international appeal of these automobiles. According to Spanish media "Diari de Tarragona," nearly half of Spaniards would consider a Chinese evauto for their next purchase, reflecting global consumer confidence in these superior quality new energy cars.

Advancing Through Technology and Global Cooperation

As China’s electric vehicle industry expands globally, it invites international car manufacturers to integrate into its robust automotive supply chain. Key foreign investments, like Audi’s FAW venture and Volkswagen’s operations in Anhui, underscore this integration. Multinational companies leverage China’s expertise in electric car technology to accelerate their transition, exemplified by Volkswagen and Mercedes establishing research centers in China. The 2024 Beijing International Auto Show, themed “New Era, New Automobile,” will spotlight 278 new energy vehicles, with over 80% of new models featuring advanced features.

Commitment to Low-Carbon Industry Transformation

A global commitment to green development is vital. As part of its 2020 pledge at the 75th UN General Assembly, China aims for peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. These goals exemplify China's dedication to climate solutions, showcasing the responsibility of a major nation. Recent years have witnessed China's steadfast commitment to transforming its industrial structure, fostering rapid growth in new energy sectors like evcars, battery cars, and solar energy. These efforts inject new hope into the global low-carbon transition. Notably, automobile emissions account for about 10% of global carbon output, with new energy cars cutting lifecycle emissions by more than 40% compared to traditional vehicles. The IEA estimates that to meet the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, global new energy car sales must reach 45 million units by that year. As the world's largest market for electric vehicles, China’s accelerating progress will be instrumental in supporting these international carbon reduction and green development goals.

Innovative Growth and Unyielding Commitment

Leveraging its massive market and comprehensive industry chain, China's automobile industry embraces the shift towards ecars and smart technologies. This approach, rooted in innovation and perseverance, has opened new development fields, creating dynamic growth advantages. China's electric vehicles have transitioned from anonymity to global leadership, supporting domestic prosperity while enabling a green, low-carbon future worldwide.
